The hydrating avocado mask – great for dry skin
- ½ ripe avocado
- 1 teaspoon plain organic yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon of honey
This moisturizing mask is the perfect thing to hydrate your skin! Mash the avocado until it’s soft and then mix in the yoghurt and honey until it forms a paste. Apply to your face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. If your skin needs a lot of hydration, add one or two teaspoons of virgin olive oil into the mix, this will instantly soften and smooth your skin!
The Pore-Obliterating Egg White Mask – great for oily skin
- 1 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon of orange juice
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
Egg white proteins are perfect for oily skin as they tighten the pores and zap acne-causing bacteria. Whisk the egg white with the orange juice (a dose of Vitamin C) and turmeric, which will brighten and even out your skin tone, however be sure to not get the powder on anything as it can stain. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and wash off the mask with water once it has dried.
The Calming Honey Mask – great for red or inflamed skin
- 2 tablespoons of pure honey
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 wedge of fresh lemon
Warm the honey in the microwave for a few seconds and then combine with the cinnamon and the juice from the lemon. The cinnamon will reduce any inflammation from acne or redness in the skin, and soaks up excess oil when applied topically. The acid from the lemon (it sounds painful but it’s not) helps exfoliate and reduce the appearance of dark spots on the skin, leaving it feeling fresh and brightened. Gently massage the mixture onto your face and leave on for about 15-20 minutes, then rinse off.
The exfoliating brown sugar scrub mask – great for dull or dry skin
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil

- 2 tablespoons of raw oats
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- ½ of a banana
Mash up the banana, mix it with the oats and add the honey – super simple! The oats are a natural and gentle exfoliator, that are also well known for their soothing powers. The honey gives the mask an easier texture to apply to the face, but also has anti-bacterial properties that relieve inflamed skin.

- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons of milk
This mask is perfect for acne prone skin as the honey has anti-bacterial properties that naturally kills of bacteria to prevent future breakouts. The nutmeg acts as a gentle exfoliator which is perfect if you have sensitive skin. Mix all three ingredients and apply, then let it sink in for 10-15 minutes before rinsing and then follow up with your favourite moisturiser.
